Born in Switzerland 37 years ago, being half swiss, half swedish, coming from a family that gave me the possibility to travel and appreciating the world at a very young age, got introduced to snow and water, my first and ever lasting love to boardsports, the urge of feeling nature’s power, sharing special moments with special people… the list is endless… makes it impossible to live the ‘normal’ life (even though I tried it … for a little while…at least I tried…).
Snowboarding and Skiing brought me to live in the Swiss Alps for several years, but also gave me the possibility to travel the world in the off-season, which usually are the best months to ‘search’ for waves in the southern hemisphere anyway. Surftrips all around the world, several times by the way, finally brought me to Australia, the land of plenty. Not knowing that one day I will end up here, still hoping to find my self, one day, in an oval office, I undertook a Masters of Business Administration in Perth. After then working in Marketing, in a suit, in a large enterprise, in an oval office, I just couldn’t resist to, once again, feel the power of nature, to go back to my girlfriend ‘boardsports’, meet snow and water, to share special moments with special people in a special place, a place of plenty, a place down under… at least for the moment.
Living in the present, the now, being aware of what beauty surrounds us, what moment, special moments, mostly just a split second (often 1/8000 shutter speed), every day, wherever we are, capture this moment, share this moment, …
