February in Brigels

Day one: Arrived in the Accommodation in Brigels and went to a club named Mulin. Didn’t haver so many people so we didn’t stay very long.

Day two.: Went pretty early on to the pist’s and took some nice shots. Also did some filming for my new Parkpodcast http://vimeo.com/35946221. Had a great day and went in the evening to eat good pizza and after that into the club again where there was more people than the day before.

Day three – Day seven: Skischool start’s! Had a great group of kids and had the honor to teach with 3 very good mates of mine… so we had a great week teaching the kids how to ski, break and make some turnings :D

Day eight: Have finally got some internet!! Moved from the apartment I was living in into a new place.  Had a great evening with playing cards an going for dancing in the club.

Day nine: Went for skiing the day through and took some shots of skiers at the sunset.  One of my mates fell down will jumping and needed to go to hospital, wish him all the best. At the end of the day my mates and myself started preparing things for our houseparty at the evening. In the evening the party started… Had a great time there and partied till 5 a.m. in the morning.

Day ten: Had quite a hangover as I got up went downstairs and it was pretty funny seeing several mates waking up next to al kinds of girls. We couldn’t go skiing this day we had to clean up till the evening broke in!

Day eleven: Normal life came back for one day. I needed to go back to school for one day. And went back to Brigels in the evening.

Day twelve – Day fifteen: New week new kids. I started teaching skischool again. This week with different kids an other teachers. Had quite a bit of fun , kids say so funny things : ) On Friday I had organised the Box Battle, it’s a freestyle battle from skiers and snowboarders.  Took some nice shots there and went partying in the night.  One of my mates went back to new Zealand so we had to celebrate the last night.

Day sixteen: Woke up and the sun is shining down and it’s realy chilli…. Needed to prepare some lights and electronic stuff for the Nightshooting in the Park. As the nightsession began it was so cold that our cameras didn’t work anymore so we where quite pissed…. We will repeat that shooting again in March when it’s a bit warmer… After that lose we went to the club and had a couple of drinks and went to bed.

Day seventeen:  Went early for skiing. Did some filming for a video competition. Another friend fell over and needed to go to hospital, all the luck to him.

Day eighteen: Had to go to school again…  In the evening I moved to a friend who lives in Ilanz near to Brigels…

Day nineteen: Had a great day with some new kids in skischool, but it was quite tireing... :D now were going to the freestyle academy in Laax will have a great time there... :D be back tomorow  xD

Day twenty: Had a nice day teaching again.... Kids were pretty tirying !! :D In the night we went like every week to the "schneggeabig" were  everything costs 5 CHF... the cool thing was that a friend of mine came 18 years. so we had a great great time !!

Day twentyone: Day through had to do some teaching in the evening I went with some mates to shape the Surselva Fun Park new ( http://www.surselvapark.ch ) . We've got now some new Lunchtablet set up... We also put up our bonk up to 6 meters high... Looks now like a peak !! :D

Day twentytwo: last day of teaching for this week¨!! Kids were so tired, was realy realy a hard day.. but its over now and we went to drink some beers... called my bos and he gave me another week of holiday do give skischool and chill in the mountains :D looking forward to that shit !! :D

Day twentythree: Did some great shooting in the Surselva Park. One of my best friends did a double Frontflip in the park... had a great party aftetr that.

Day twentyfour: Not at all nice weather so i chilled in the restaurant and did some pic corrections and some film editing,

Day twentyfive: Skischool starts again !! New class new teachers... In the evening I drove to zürich for a few hours to do my physio therapie and had after that beers with sime mates in the evening !! and played a little billiard :D

Day twentysix: Another day of skischool, the kids are doing good progress that means I'm not so tired in the evening :D chilling in the house with nice chicks and Fondue !!! great live here in the swiss mountains :D

Day twentyseven: Having one of the hottest day's here in brigels teaching in my t-shirt having a realy great time... taking some sumerset shots... couldn't be better. this evening clubing in mulin... every drink 5 CHF

We travelled to the Algarve. The village of Sagres is located in the South-West of Portugal and a perfect place to start your day trips! End of October there are still a pleasant 20 degrees and the landscape around is full of fascinating cliffs and bays. The village itself...

Trip to the highlands...

This is the story of 5 french fellas going up north of europe in the search of empty heavy waves in the cold, rain and wild nature.

It sounds like every single rider's motivation of this trip is traveling to discover new places, meet new people and surf new spots at any time of the year. The team was just perfect. It was still summertime in France and we were surfing without any wetsuit but we decided to go into the cold and wear a 4/3mm, socks and gloves and hood...

Everyones dream...? Having my photos published by one of the many magazines...? Yes! Having taken potos now for many years I always thougt of having one of my shots published for real. I knew that there are thousands of photographers out there having the same dream, so I thought to myself: "Nico, dream on...!"
